Dependent Coverage

Students enrolled in the TU Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan may also enroll their spouse and/or unmarried dependent children under the age of nineteen. Eligible dependents must be enrolled by September 17, 2006 for the fall semester, by January 20, 2007 for the spring semester and by June 14, 2007 for the summer semester.

Requests for enrollment after these deadline dates will not be accepted. Please go to the student health center in the John Andrew building to pick up a dependent enrollment form.

A child born to an insured student or insured dependent spouse shall be covered for Injury, Sickness, and congenital defects for 31 days from the date of birth including adopted children. To continue coverage beyond this 31 day period, the insured student must complete a dependent enrollment form and carry or mail it with a payment to the Office of Business the Bursar. Make check payable to Tuskegee University, and deliver it to: Office of Business & Fiscal Affairs, Room 204, Kresge Center, Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL 36088.
